Description
This workshop is geared toward educational support and administrative units with mainly operational outcomes. Participants will revisit the purpose of assessment at Appalachian and discuss the key components to a successful assessment process. Facilitators will demonstrate how to upload assessment plans and results into Xitracs and how to associate a unit's improvement efforts with the University's strategic plan.
This workshop will be held in a computer lab and participants should bring copies of assessment plans they would like to enter into Xitracs.
Objectives
- Identify ways your program/department can make assessment a more useful process
- Log into the Xitracs portal
- Use Xitracs to report annual improvement efforts
- Use Xitracs to associate improvement efforts with the University's strategic plan
