Description
In light of the increasing population of students and scholars coming to study and teach at Appalachian from all over the world, Faculty and Academic Development is pleased to offer an intercultural communication workshop for faculty and staff that interacts regularly with international students and scholars. Through vibrant discussion, activities, and reflection, workshop participants will acquire a repertoire of transferable skills to enhance their intercultural communication practices. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment at Appalachian, no matter what corner of the world a student comes from. We encourage participants to attend with a departmental colleague so that you may share the information as a team with your staff.
