Description

This workshop will provide information about the regulations that govern the participation of human subjects in research in the United States. Facilitators will describe the purpose of the IRB, the requirements for conducting research involving human subjects, and the types of IRB review. The online application rolling out in fall semester will be presented.

Objectives

  • 1.Describe the IRB review process.
  • 2.Comfortably complete an IRB application with supporting documentation.
  • 3.Minimize most common reasons for return of an IRB application.
