Course Description
Facilitators: Betsy Williams and John Wiswell, Library
In this interactive workshop, we will take a hands-on approach to exploring Zotero, a free research and citation tool. Collect, manage, and cite your research from any computer; Zotero backs it up automatically online, where you can share citations with colleagues. You’ll learn how to collect materials—from journal articles to Flickr images to web documents—and how to add both citations and PDFs with a single click. You’ll also learn how to format bibliographies with Zotero’s drag-and-drop citation features. We’ll briefly review Write-and-Cite features for OpenOffice and Word, and introduce Zotero’s sharing and backup features.
