Course Description
Facilitators: Joy James and Stephanie West, Health, Leisure, and Exercise Science
The purpose of this workshop is to share teaching tools and techniques so that all can become better teachers. Participants should bring their best ideas to share: group activities, games that facilitate teamwork, engaging assignments, etc. In addition, participants should bring their classroom challenges, and brainstorm with the group solutions that might be used to address the challenge. Topics could range from making a lecture or assignment more interesting to improving class attendance or participation.
