Course Description

General Education’s Goal #1 is to increase student competency in thinking critically and creatively. Creative thinking includes skills in problem solving, abilities to generate innovative perspectives, and the flexibility of mind to construct new knowledge. This workshop will provide faculty with sample assignments and strategies for implementing and evaluating creative thinking across the disciplines.

- Define creative thinking in relation to course activities and discussions.
- Design assignments that will assist students with integrating creative thinking skills.
