Description
This session is designed to introduce participants to the "Explain Everything" IOS app and facilitate the production of an explanation/presentation/tutorial to enhance classroom instruction. White boarding, screen capture and screen casting are simplified with Explain Everything. This application will be available for participants to download after the workshop, to their university owned, registered and enrolled RCOE faculty iPads. We will be using an iPad Case for the session that is available for checkout to faculty through the media lab.
Objectives
- Use Explain Everything to annotate, animate, and narrate digital explanations and presentations
- Providing personal feedback on a student’s work
- Import Photos, PDF, PPT, and Keynote from Google Drive, Evernote, iPad photo roll and iPad camera
- Export explanations/presentations as MP4's, image files or PDFs.
- Publish explanations to video web services like Panopto, YouTube and Vimeo
Prerequisites
- You should be comfortable using an iPad .
- Useful access to cloud-based file repository, i.e. Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
