Description

This fully online workshop will provide instruction and practice for using rubrics and marking guides in AsULearn assignments.

In the course you’ll learn how to set-up advanced grading options (rubrics and marking guides) and best practices for using each grading method in your assignments. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to practice grading using rubrics and marking guides:

The workshop is 100% online, asynchronous and self-paced; and you can earn credit for the online workshop by completing modules in the course. The entire AsULearn course will be available beginning **Monday, June 19th, through Friday, July 7th **. This block of time (3 weeks) will allow you to work at your own pace to complete the modules. The instructor will provide feedback, answer questions and guide your progress in the course. Once you register for the workshop you will be sent additional information on accessing the course.

Objectives

  • Access advanced grading options in the AsULearn assignment tool.
  • Identify the steps necessary to setup a rubric and/or a marking guide in an AsULearn assignment.
  • Design or modify a rubric and a marking guide in an AsULearn assignment.

Prerequisites

  • This workshop is appropriate for all instructors who have some experience using an AsULearn assignment.
