Description
In this workshop faculty, staff and administrators will learn about the opportunities available for funding through the Quality Enhancement Plan (qep.appstate.edu). Each participant will have an opportunity to share and receive feedback regarding their ideas/needs for increasing students’ global competency. The facilitator will provide insight into the monies available, the areas/projects that are considered for funding, strategies on writing the proposal, and effective ways of increasing the appeal of the proposals. If time allows, the participants will be engaged in writing specific components of their proposal during the workshop. The session will also include participation from previous recipients of this funding.
Objectives
- Identify strategies for increasing the likelihood for funding.
- Articulate each of the components and processes of the application.
- Design, write and begin a proposal to be submitted to the Office of the QEP.
