Description
Learn the basics of using your new Mountaineer Apps YouTube channel to upload and share instructional video files (in any format) from your computer, edit YouTube’s auto-created closed captions, embed your Youtube-hosted videos in your AsULearn course, and more.
Note: This professional development session will be conducted entirely in an online Google Hangout. You may participate in this session from any Internet-connected computer, on or off-campus. Once you register for the workshop you will be sent additional information on preparing for this online session.
Objectives
- Access your Mountaineer Apps Youtube channel
- Publish an existing video file to your channel
- Describe public, unlisted, and private sharing settings
- Edit YouTube-generated captions for ADA compliance
- Embed YouTube videos in AsULearn resources
Prerequisites
- None. However, familiarity with your Mountaineer Apps account is a plus!
