Description
This online session provides an overview for using Google Hangouts for live, video chats with small groups.
This professional development session will be conducted entirely in a Google Hangout environment. You may participate in this session from any Internet-connected computer, on or off-campus. While you are not required to have a webcam to participate in the session, it may enhance your experience to have one. You should plan to have a mic for this session. Once you register for the workshop you will be sent additional information on preparing for this online webinar.
The facilitator will provide information and guidance on using Google Hangouts for web-conferencing sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with some of the basic tools in a Google Hangouts session.
Objectives
- Participate in a discussion about best practices for web-conferencing.
- Identify commonly used features and tools in Google Hangouts.
