Description
During this workshop, faculty, staff and administrators will learn about the opportunities available for funding through the Global Learning Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) (qep.appstate.edu). The facilitators and past recipients will provide insight into: identifying projects that are appropriate for funding, exploring effective ways of addressing the Student Learning Outcomes, and increasing the appeal of the proposals. Participants will have an opportunity to brainstorm, share, and receive feedback regarding their ideas for increasing students’ global competency. We anticipate a wide-ranging discussion that will help to solidify potential applicants’ understanding of what the Global Learning Quality Enhancement Plan will fund.

Objectives
- 1.Describe the goals and outcomes of the Global Learning QEP.
- 2.Explore effective methods of addressing these goals and outcomes.
- 3.Recognize the kind of projects that are funded by the Global Learning QEP.
- 4.Identify strategies for increasing the likelihood for funding.
