Description
This fully online workshop will provide instruction and practice for using a few popular Google Apps in AsULearn.
In the course we'll cover how to begin using Google files and folders, Google Calendar, YouTube, and Google Hangouts. You'll have the opportunity to practice using these tools in an AsULearn environment.
The workshop is 100% online, asynchronous and self-paced; and you can earn credit for the online workshop by completing modules in the course. The entire AsULearn course will be available beginning Monday, August 22nd, through Friday, September 9th. This block of time (3 weeks) will allow you to work at your own pace to complete the modules. The instructor will provide feedback, answer questions and guide your progress in the course.
Objectives
- Identify the benefits of using GoogleDrive and Google files in AsUlearn
- Describe a few ways to to make Google files accessible in AsULearn.
- Create a Google Hangout link.
- Access a Google Hangout/Video chat.
- Identify the benefits of using YouTube in AsUlearn
- Create a block in AsULearn with you Google calendar.
Prerequisites
- This workshop is appropriate for all instructors who have a little experience using Google and AsULearn.
