Description
The purpose of the workshop is to assist faculty with understanding how to integrate sustainability into courses and/or research. This will be facilitated through demonstration of examples by faculty who have already integrated sustainability into courses/research, and small group brainstorming sessions to help participants understand how sustainability is relevant to their disciplines and achieve integration. Outcomes of the workshop would include potential class projects or assignments, and/or research proposals.

Objectives
- Gain an understanding of the concept of sustainability in general;
- Demonstrate how sustainability is relevant to one’s own individual academic discipline;
- Design a course assignment and/or research proposal that integrates the concept of sustainability as it relates to the faculty’s individual discipline.
