This workshop introduces faculty to Aportfolio, Appalachian's integrated ePortfolio platform. Faculty will learn about the pedagogical and assessment potential of ePortfolios for courses or programs. The workshop will provide examples of how a variety of programs are integrating ePortfolios to highlight student competencies, transferable skills, and learning. Examples of exemplary student ePortfolios will be shared along with methods of providing meaningful assessment and feedback on student work. Faculty will also experience the process of initiating their own Aportfolio and explore the ease of use within the interface. Additional information will be provided on the campus-wide support the Aportfolio team offers for students and faculty.
