Description
Appalachian’s Workplace Violence Policy prohibits bullying, yet many faculty and staff are unsure about what is just poor professionalism, and what constitutes bullying. Further, most are unsure about how to respond when upset by a colleague’s behavior. This workshop increases participants’ confidence in handling uncomfortable situations by identify bullying behaviors, recognizing the negative effects on individuals and organizations, and presenting strategies to handle bullies in the workplace.
