Any class with fewer than 2 people registered by 5 pm the day before the class WILL BE CANCELLED.
Employees may sign up directly, or Supervisors may sign up employees by emailing the employees' usernames to nixonss@appstate.edu
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: New ASU employees, including faculty, staff, and student employees.
COURSE OVERVIEW: This workshop is designed to provide a basic understanding of common workplace hazards, how to identify them, and the steps needed to address them. The workshop will also introduce the safety incident reporting process and the steps it involves.
Objectives
- After successfully completing this workshop, attendees should be able to:
- Identify and address common workplace hazards, and
- Understand reporting requirements for workplace incidents and injuries.
Prerequisites
- No prerequisites, but online pre-registration is required by 5 pm the day before the class.
