Description
Performance management is more than a process! If you want to help your employee grow, build skills, and improve in areas of development, this workshop will provide you with the tools to do it!
This workshop is a deeper dive in the performance management module. It is designed to empower you to set meaningful goals, create development plans, and give ongoing, iterative feedback in the performance management system. You will dive more deeply into the goal setting process and explore the progress notes and peer review features in the Performance Management system. You will also learn practical strategies for having ongoing, iterative performance conversations throughout the year.
Objectives
- Discover the foundations of good goal setting.
- Explore new features in the AppState Careers performance management system.
- Integrate practical strategies for giving ongoing feedback to your employees.
Prerequisites
- This workshop is designed for supervisors who will be entering performance plans and giving ongoing feedback to employees. Therefore, you should have at least one direct report in the online AppState Careers (PeopleAdmin) system in order to participate fully.
