Description
This workshop introduces users to the basic functions for creating and publishing content to a Drupal 6 website at Appalachian. Users who will be maintaining a Drupal 6 website are required to complete this training.
This is an online, asynchronous, self-paced course. This block of time will allow users to work at their own pace, on their own computer, to complete the AsULearn modules on the Drupal Training site. The instructor will be available for questions during this time.
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is online, asynchronous and self-paced, not to be confused with the classroom version.
Once you register for the workshop you will be sent additional information on accessing the course.
Objectives
- Login to a Drupal website
- Create and edit website content
- Create and edit menu items
- Create and edit block elements
- Best practices for building and maintaining a Drupal site
Prerequisites
- You will need basic computer skills to navigate the Internet and use common screen controls.
