Course name, TPACK and Models for Integrating Technologies

Reich College of Education Type of course Faculty Development Seminar

About the course

Upcoming Classes

No classes scheduled

Description

The purposes of this learning community are to create a general awareness of the models for effective unit-level technology integration and to develop a conceptual framework for the effective and sustained use and improvement of technologies across all of the departments, projects and offices that comprise the RCOE. Using the TPACK model to study and suggest new planning models and strategies for the integration of technology in the college will drive this deciduous learning community. It will draw membership and involvement from the long standing Technology Advisory Committee and guide the strategic planning process of this contemporaneous committee. The interactions between the three central knowledge areas with respect to the RCOE organization are critical to seeing and improving the system and the technologies upon with it depends.

The LC will begin with a face-to-face meeting in January 2015 and conclude with a face-to-face meeting in May 2015. We will meet virtually in the interim for our study, using AsULearn as our primary method of correspondence.
