This course will cover the reasons behind conflict and the methods of resolving it. Skills learned will transcend the work environment and be applicable in everyday life. Group practice and participation will help to increase your comfort with and ability to resolve conflict.
Offered in partnership with graduate students in the IOHRM program.

- Understand the causes of conflict.
- Know why it is important to resolve conflict.
- Understand the methods of resolving conflict.
- Know the Do’s and Don’ts of conflict resolution.
- Describe the steps in the conflict resolution process.
- Define conflict parking and understand when to utilize this method.
