Description
Do you struggle to find practical wellness resources, and staying motivated?
In this two-hour training session, we will walk you through what wellness services are available to you. You will learn where to find them, when to use them, and how to best utilize the resources on and off campus. We will take you through some easy ways to set goals and stay motivated to maintain both your physical and mental health. There will also be an interactive section specifically on nutrition to help you understand how to make healthy choices at meal time.
Offered in partnership with graduate students in the IOHRM program.
Objectives
- Be able to identify what wellness programs are available to them on campus.
- Understand why wellness initiatives are beneficial to them both in their work and personal life.
- Gain knowledge on how to make better nutritional choices both on campus and off campus.
- Make challenging and attainable goals towards a healthier lifestyle.
- Gain knowledge of how the different areas of wellness are interdependent and why not utilizing wellness services would be a detriment.
