Description

2/3 of people who die by suicide tell someone about their intent to die prior to their death. Students you work with may be showing warning signs for suicide, such as not showing up on time, decreased work ethic, appearing to be emotional, expressing feelings of hopelessness, or expressing more anger than usual. Learn how to recognize these warning signs for suicide in students, how to talk to your students who are displaying warning signs, and where to go for more help. This training is targeted towards staff who work with students on a regular basis.
