Description
The Student Development Assessment Committee will be hosing a webinar by the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) that discusses assessment in Student Development and partnering with Institutional Research. It will provide an overview to the assessment process, data collection and analysis, and assessment of student success outcomes.
Objectives
- understand the assessment cycle, including design, data collection, and analysis and use of data within Institutional Research and Student Affairs contexts
- understand aspects of data collection, data management, data analysis, and the implications of student development theory in research and assessment
- understand the role collaboration between Student Affair and Institutional Research can serve in a culture of assessment and accountability
- understand the issues impacting the assessment of student success outcomes in higher education
