Description
This How To session with Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 will get you on your way to create your own presentation media. Learn the basics for setting up your options, using and modifying a presentation theme, and adding text, pictures, sound, and video to slides. The Office 2010 version has changed significantly.
Objectives
- Set up PowerPoint 2010 to your preferences
- Create a slide presentation from scratch
- Apply a presentation theme
- Add text, pictures, sound, and video to slides
- Understand design principles for an effective slide show
Prerequisites
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with operations like navigating the file system, saving and opening files, using a computer keyboard.
- This workshop will focus on the PowerPoint 2010 for Windows version. While PowerPoint for Mac is similar, it does not have the complete feature set that the Windows version has.
