AsULearn’s web conferencing tool allows faculty, staff, and students to interact live via a web interface. This interface allows anyone with a computer and Internet connection to interact with two-way audio, video, text messaging, a shared whiteboard, polling, and more.

Faculty can use AsULearn’s web conferencing tool to review lecture notes, talk through PowerPoint presentations, and hold virtual office hours. Staff can use it to hold meetings and interact with others here at ASU and outside of the ASU community. Students can use it to do group work and work on projects without being physically at the same location.

Features of the tool include: breakout rooms for small group discussion, text messaging capability, incorporation of shared applications, a whiteboard with markup tools for visuals, sessions can be recorded and played back later by participants. It can be used with authenticated users here at ASU or as a guest service for participants that do not have an ASU user name and password.
