Description

The University of North Carolina Board of Governors recently repealed its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy and replaced it with a new directive emphasizing "institutional neutrality.” (https://www.northcarolina.edu/wp-content/uploads/reports-and-documents/legal/unc-system-guidance-implementation-of-equality-policy-june-2024.pdf) This system-wide change requires all public universities within the UNC System, including Appalachian State, to discontinue DEI-specific offices and initiatives. In alignment with these new policies this workshop offering has been decommissioned.
