Description

Are you interested in the role of digital media and production in teaching and learning in the 21st century? Would you like to learn more about issues in media, technology, and curriculum as they relate to universal design for learning (UDL) and multiple literacies? The Reich College of Education’s Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) is supporting a Learning Community focused on these issues and we invite you to participate as a means to develop your knowledge, skills, and expertise in integrating principles of universal design and multiple literacies into your teaching. Together, we will examine current digital media and production laboratories and maker spaces that are part of and/or sponsored by colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher education from the perspectives of universal design and multiple literacies as they relate to our collective teaching and research interests.

The LC will begin with a face-to-face meeting in January 2015 and conclude with a face-to-face meeting in May 2015. We will meet virtually in the interim for our study, using AsULearn as our primary method of correspondence.
