Description
Are you going to be using hundreds of articles and other sources? EndNote is software for managing citations. As you find articles and books, easily save their metadata to EndNote. Attach article PDFs and your notes. When you're ready to write, you can create correctly formatted citations and bibliographies. The Belk Library subscribes to EndNote, so it’s free for faculty, staff, and students.
Objectives
- Set-up an EndNote library and manage basic preferences.
- Collect and store bibliographic citations, PDFs, and notes
- Cite as you write and create a bibliography
- Use EndNote documentation resources
Prerequisites
- Bring your laptop. We will install EndNote from CDs or USB drives.
- EndNote is not working with MS Word 2016, so far. Do not update to the 2016 version. If you have it already, you can still create bibliographies, but you will not be able to use the Cite While You Write function.
