Description

All children sometimes need advocates. Children with special needs often benefit from greater advocacy to ensure that they receive needed services and are encouraged to thrive. Parents and professionals who work with children with special needs can also benefit from information and support, which increases their effectiveness.

For over 20 years Parent to Parent, Family Support Network of the High Country has provided information and referral, advocacy, and support to families of children with special needs.

  The presentation will focus on the following primary topics:        -  Becoming informed        -  Ways to Communicate Effectively        - Getting the Support You Need The presentation will also provide information regarding the services offered by Parent to Parent.
