Description
ℹ️ This session WILL be recorded.
Join us for a focused 30-minute virtual workshop designed to help you leverage the unique capabilities of Google Gemini at App State University! While App State provides access to several AI tools, this session will specifically cover the features that set Gemini apart from platforms like Microsoft Copilot.
During this workshop, we'll explore Gemini's Deep Research feature, demonstrating how it can enhance the ways you engage with research articles and materials. For example: Creating clear overviews of takeaways and themes from articles, generating infographics, creating interactive quizzes, and producing podcast-style audio overviews from your uploaded research articles.
We'll demonstrate how to use Gemini's Canvas feature to collaboratively write and revise documents with AI. We'll also cover how to connect Gemini to your G Suite to ask it questions about documents in Google Drive, email in your inbox, and events on your calendar.
This workshop will be delivered via Zoom and will be recorded. We encourage everyone to register, even if you can't attend live, as all registrants will receive a link to the recording for convenient on-demand viewing.
