Description
In this workshop, deepen your understanding of digital accessibility and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), the common standard for digital accessibility. This session will provide a comprehensive introduction to WCAG, highlighting its importance in creating inclusive digital environments for users with a variety of disabilities. We will learn about the four primary principles of WCAG (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust) and how they apply to web content. We will also explore the specific success criteria within WCAG and how they impact web accessibility as well as practical strategies and tools to assist faculty in implementing WCAG guidelines into their AsULearn courses.
