Description

Campus Connections are short 1-hour meet ups at various locations around campus. These events are designed to inspire you and the students you serve to become engaged campus citizens and form lasting relationships. The investment you make now will serve you well as you continue your service at AppState!

The Case Management team within the Office of the Dean of Students welcomes you to attend this session in order to engage in learning and dialogue regarding assisting students in need of support.

Objectives

  • Educate all interested App State employees regarding the services and programs administered by the Office of the Dean of Students with special emphasis on Case Management
  • Provide an overview of the network of support across campus to support students in need/distress
  • Encourage employees to make timely and appropriate referrals after recognizing a student is in need of support
  • Educate employees regarding what goes on “behind the scenes” after a referral is made
  • Provide an opportunity for employees to network with each other and build relationships with the Case Management team
