Description

This workshop will explore how the Office of Access & Opportunity: Disability Resources collaborates with students and faculty to ensure access to university programs, services, and activities and define the essential role faculty play in implementing academic adjustment plans and maintaining the integrity of their course objectives. Presenters will discuss ways faculty can contribute to a positive learning experience for students with academic adjustments, including communication practices and classroom flexibility. Participants will be introduced to the resources Disability Resources provides to assist faculty in navigating adjustments and providing access.
