Description

The Hurricane Helene Roll-Call Research Feature Session spotlights the collaborative work of Adam Hege, PhD (Public Health), Maggie Sugg, PhD (Geography and Planning), and Jennifer Tyson, MPH (Public Health). Their work addresses the health impacts of Helene on local, vulnerable populations.

Supporting COllaborative Research across the Enterprise (SCORE) is a collective initiative between the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI), the Research Institute for the Environment, Energy, and Economics (RIEEE), and the Appalachian Institute for Health and Wellness (AppWell). Its purpose is to highlight and support collaborative research happening at App State.

SCORE’s mission is to empower and celebrate collaborative research efforts of Appalachian State’s faculty and staff through research talks, agency information sessions, and support service highlights. SCORE aims to foster successful research and creative collaborations by providing services and frameworks to navigate administrative processes, build connections, and execute successful projects.
