Description

This session is designed to introduce participants to the iPad based telepresence robot technology and provide an opportunity to drive and interact using one. The participant will receive an AsULearn Double Robotics badge after completing the session. This innovative education technology is being used in creative ways at several universities and in public school classrooms. Some creative uses include: addressing the need of a homebound student to participate in class, connecting with a remote specialists for professional development or classroom activities and attending a meeting while traveling. The main advantage over tools like Skype or Google Hangouts is mobility and freedom from a fixed teleconferencing device. Come and have fun and drive a robot.
