Description

Physical, mental and emotional abilities and attributes are among the essential building blocks of being human. People with disabilities may process information, communicate thoughts, experience feelings, and navigate physical environments in many different ways. This workshop will deepen an understanding of the types of disabilities at Appalachian, expand knowledge of the increasing number of Appalachian employees and students who disclose documented disabilities, and explain the process for requesting accommodations.
