Course Description

This one-hour workshop will provide practical information about Records Management at ASU. Discussion will include public records in North Carolina; the UNC System General Schedule; basic transfer procedures, including records from search committees; and file delivery and pickup. An overview of the appraisal and destruction processes will also be included, as well as differences (access, etc.) between permanent records in the Archives repository and temporary records held in the University Records Center. We will also introduce the Eloquent Records database, and how to request and search for files in that system.
