Description
Please join us for a panel discussion on the successful implementation of Aportfolios in classrooms across our campus.
This session will provide examples of how faculty have implemented Aportfolio in their classrooms and provide attendees with ideas and methods for using Aportfolios as a pedagogy to support writing, integrative learning and the development of a capstone ePortfolio.
Refreshments will be provided.
Facilitators will in include: Alison Reaves, associate director for the career development at the BB&T Student Leadership Center, Miles Britton, award recipient for the 2016 Excellence in Teaching with Aportfolios and Rhetoric and Composition instructor, Dr. Beth Fiske, Assistant Professor of Nursing, and Dr. Elaine Gray, ePortfolio coordinator

- Hear about how Aportfolio supports student learning and meaning making
- See examples of student Aportfolios
- Receive information on grading methods for Aportfolio
- Learn about how to get your courses/programs involved in using Aportfolio
- Discuss your questions with the facilitators
