Description
The UNC system created a set of institutional goals for all SHRA employees. This workshop will help you demystify the descriptions and learn how to use them to foster a better understanding of job expectations. You will enhance your understanding of each goal and practice having conversations about how they apply to an employee's position description.
Objectives
- Understand the concepts behind the institutional goals
- Learn how to compare the essential duties in a position description to the concepts in the goals
- Practice discussing the goals and how they apply to the position description
Prerequisites
- This workshop is best suited for supervisors.
- Bring a position description with you to use in your practice discussions. It can be your own or one of your employee's.
