Description
This online webinar provides an overview for using Zoom for web-conferencing.
This professional development session will be conducted entirely in a Zoom web-conference room. You may participate in this session from any Internet-connected computer, on or off-campus. You are not required to have a webcam or microphone to participate in the session, but it may enhance your experience to have them. Once you register for the workshop you will be sent additional information on preparing for this webinar.
The facilitator will provide information and guidance on using Zoom for web-conferencing sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the sessions from both a student and moderator role and interact with some of the basic tools in a Zoom session.
Objectives
- Identify commonly used features and tools in Zoom.
- Identify different ways to access Zoom.
- Participate in a discussion about best practices for web-conferencing.
