It seems that every week brings new stories of hacking incidents and cyber security concerns. With all the negative focus on these events, it can almost seem like there is nothing we can do to protect ourselves. However, there are actually several highly effective steps that we can all take to protect our families and ourselves from online threats.

Jim Webb, Appalachian's Chief Information Security Officer, will provide information on common attacks and steps we can all take to improve our cyber security self defense techniques and skills.
