From advertising on-campus jobs and filling positions, to addressing HR and Payroll related concerns - the Office of Student Employment is here to help.
In this workshop we will provide job description templates and supervisor resources, discuss workers' compensation, and make you aware of Title IX policies.
There's a lot to be covered but come prepared with your questions.
Objectives
- Navigate Handshake to post on-campus jobs
- Become familiar with new-hire on-boarding and the Federal Work Study Program
- Understand supervisors' responsibilities for providing students with a meaningful job experience
