Description
Resilience is our ability to bounce back from the stresses of life. It’s not about avoiding the stress, but learning to thrive within the stress, and building good coping skills that we can use to deal with stressful situations.
In this 3-part workshop, we will address three pillars of resilience: Perspective/Attitude, Skill Set, and Lifestyle. In each workshop we will examine changes that we can make to increase our ability to cope with stress and thrive in life. This workshop is appropriate for people are working on self-improvement, as well as those who want to learn these skills in an effort to help or support others.
Objectives
- Examine how you are reacting to current life stressors
- Learn to adjust your perspective in ways that will increase resilience
- Learn specific coping and emotional regulation skills
- Learn about lifestyle changes that can increase your sense of wellbeing
