Description
Adobe InDesign is a powerful, professional layout application that is a standard among graphic designers and publishers. Its feature set goes beyond word processing with functionality for fine tuning every element on a page and throughout a publication. This workshop will introduce you to the basic concepts related to creating and modifying an InDesign document as well as making you aware of some of its more sophisticated features.
Objectives
- Find the basic commands and controls in the InDesign interface
- Understand constructing a print publication in InDesign
- Place text and image files into the page layout
Prerequisites
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with operations like navigating the file system, saving and opening files, using a computer keyboard.
