The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning for Student Success and the Department of Academic Technologies is excited to share with you an new feature in AsULean, the syllabus plugin. This feature will allow you to input all of the information required by Academic Affairs, plus add your own policies, rubrics, and other information that you typically share with your students.

Why would I want to use this plugin, you ask? Great question.

  1. It will provide a consistent format for students, that way they know where to find important information for each course.
  2. It will ensure that you have included all of the required information for our syllabi
  3. You and your students can use Google Chat to quickly ask and locate information regarding any course for which you are enrolled! Way Cool. You really need to come and check it out.

Objectives

  • Locate and add the syllabus plugin into your AsULearn courses
  • Add required and personalized information to the syllabus
  • Create a printable copy of the syllabus that can be shared and stored for department records
  • Use Google Autobot Chat to locate information in your syllabus
