Description
This workshop will cover the basics of formatting an image with Adobe Photoshop CS6 for use on web pages, in PowerPoint presentations, and in email messages. Image resolution, dimensions, file types, and color settings will be explained. Some image manipulation tricks will be explored. Adobe CC (Creative Cloud) is the latest version, but tasks completed with CS6 are comparable.
Objectives
- Use basic Photoshop features to edit images
- Understand formatting and sizing images for use with web pages, PowerPoint, and emails
- Use a few tricks to modify images
Prerequisites
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with operations like navigating the file system, saving and opening files, using a computer keyboard and mouse
- Familiarity with Photoshop or another image editing program is not required, but will be helpful
