Description

Streaming video for your classes -- Hollywood and more!

Facilitator: John Wiswell

Sessions: These one-hour workshops will be held on the following days and times in 327 of Belk Library.

Wed Feb 17th at 3pm Thurs Feb 18th at 3pm

Session Description: Learn about the Library's streaming video for your classes. This workshop will start with a discussion of Swank streaming feature films. Swank manages distribution for a large proportion of US feature films and also has some international films. Faculty can request films and then use them within AsULearn.

In the workshop participants will explore a range of instantly available documentary films. These could also be used as part of classes, but are easily accessed through the Library website and catalog. Finally, we will talk about the requesting other streaming video through the Library.

This workshop might be good for instructors who plan to use film in their face-to-face, hybrid or online courses.
