Description
This session is for faculty interested in having their students connect with local nonprofit community partners for service-learning projects. What types of agencies are in Boone? What are their needs and how can we work in true partnerships with practioners in our commuinity? How do we avoid pitfalls and optimize students' experiences at such off-campus sites?
