Description
Are you curious about flipping your course to make more time for the things that matter? Come take part in this 3-part series on flipped learning!
In Part 1 (separate registration), we will learn about the basics of and research behind flipped learning and discuss how it might fit with your values and context. If you attended the workshop "Flipping Your Course: Making Time for What Really Matters" last year, you can skip this session and go straight to Part 2.
In Part 2, we will take the time to put into practice what we learned in Part 1, exploring some of the technology and strategies we can use to flip our courses. Participants should attend Part 1 of this series before attending this session.
In Part 3 (separate registration), participants will be asked to provide an example of flipped instruction and we will discuss the affordances that this method of instruction allows and the pitfalls that we might run into in the process. Participants should attend Parts 1 and 2 of this series before attending this session.
